Shrewsbury Fields Forever Festival Postponed

It is with regret that after considerable hard work and negotiations with all interested parties that the Shrewsbury Fields Forever event has had to be postponed until September, on request of the organisers.

Event organisers, Forever Invasion Ltd, will continue to run Shrewsbury International comic festival as a free entry event on the previously scheduled 16th & 17th July dates and the music festival has been re-booked in the Quarry for the 16th, 17th and 18th September.

The organisers will be issuing further details in due course, see www.shrewsburyfestival.com for details.

Tickets will be valid for the re-scheduled date of Sep 16th, 17th, 18th September.

All ticketing queries should be directed to the point of purchase, Shrewsbury Town Council is not responsible for issuing ticket refunds or exchanges.

The Town Council is always keen that the Quarry is used for big events and works closely with event organisers to make their events happen and this has been no exception.

Councillor Alan Mosley, Leader of the Council said: “This is bad news caused by circumstances entirely outside the control or influence of Shrewsbury Town Council.  Our officers have worked extremely hard to do absolutely everything possible to accommodate the event in and around the Quarry.  We very much hope that the alternative arrangements will go ahead smoothly and will be a big success.”
