Shrewsbury’s indoor Market Hall will be open as usual over the two Friday Bank Holidays this Easter.
Normal opening hours for the building apply on Good Friday and April 29 – the day of the Royal wedding – from 9am until 4pm.
The majority of stalls, including; W D Butchers, Digitor Creative Studio, Barkworths Seafoods, Mirage meze, Cook and Carve, White Rabbit Books and Records, John Bliss Ltd and Pengwern Books will be open.
The Market Buffet, More Books and The Icing Tip will be closed.
The market will be closed as normal on Bank Holiday Monday, April 25 and May 2, and on Easter Sunday.
Kate Gittins, site facilities manager at the Market Hall said: “We know finding somewhere open to buy all your Easter treats can be difficult, especially this year with the additional holiday on the day of the Royal wedding, so we want people to know that they can shop as usual here at the Market Hall as we will be sticking to our opening times of 9am until 4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, as well as selected stalls opening 9am until 1pm on Thursdays.”
