Driving for a Blooming Great Business Sponsorship

A new business sponsor has been unveiled at two prime sites in the town in support of Shrewsbury in Bloom.

Star Cars Travel Limited is sponsoring the long bed at Shrewsbury Castle as well as the junction of The Mount and Shelton Road.

Perry Jones, Managing Director of the Company, said: “We are delighted to be able to support making Shrewsbury look as fabulous as it does with the floral displays. With so many other concerns at the moment, the flowers will help to make a difference to our town and to people in what have been difficult circumstances.

“We love the flowers around town, and we are proud to be associated with Shrewsbury in Bloom and look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Star Cars Travel Limited, based in Shrewsbury, was formed in 2018 and operates a 24-hour full taxi service with details of their services available on their website at www.starcarstravel.co.uk. They have recently launched their taxi booking app which is available on the Apple App store and Google Play store as well.

Councillor Keith Roberts, chairman of Shrewsbury in Bloom, added: “Although we are all dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic at the moment, it is still ‘business as usual’ at the Town Council. So it’s great to welcome Star Cars Travel Limited as one of our latest sponsors at two prime locations in the town.

“Our Bloom sponsorship scheme appeals to a wide variety of companies here in Shrewsbury, and their support helps us to ensure that our floral displays around the town look their best each year – and despite the current circumstances, this year will be no exception. The scheme is also a great way to provide promotional to companies in key locations in Shrewsbury.”
