If a spicy curry tickles your taste buds and you want authentic Indian street food, you need look no further than Shrewsbury Market Hall.
Dal and Jay Kaur run the popular Indian Street Food stall on the ground floor of the indoor market, which is proving to be a great hit with customers.
Dal said: “I am amazed at how successful we have been. We started with a stall for one day a week but with the demand from our customers, we knew we needed to increase the number of days we were open. We were then lucky to be able to open for three days a week, although we were also looking to provide our food on a Saturday as well. We knew that our customers were asking for their Saturday curry hit and wanted to be able to meet their wishes.”
Last year, an opportunity arose for the couple to produce their popular food for four days a week, taking on a double stall with the added convenience of seating facilities.
Dal added: “We have regular customers who visit us and it’s always nice to see them each time they pop by. We also have traders who pop along for a quick curry when things are quiet. We are thrilled that we are able to provide a taste of Indian Street Food here in the heart of Shrewsbury.”
The food stall is open for your favourite samosas and curries on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9am until 4pm
