Applicant Purpose of Application Amount requested (a) Belle Vue and Coleham Community Action Group Purchase of food to support for community food bank at Barnabas Church. £750 (b) Community @ In Good Hands CIC Facilitation of two new initiatives: Singing for Fund and Wellbeing and In Good Hands Choir £1,500 (c) Friends of Copthorne Park Creation and design of an information board at Copthorne Park Countryside site. £750 (d) Friends of Darwin’s Walk Pond Fund and conduct surveys of Darwin’s Walk pond wildlife, water quality, protein levels, small mammals and bats. £600 (e) Remap Shropshire The design and manufacture of custom-made equipment for people with disabilities. £250 (f) Shrewsbury Amateur Swimming Club To provide 5 tasters/introduction to club swimming training events for children. £1,000 (g) The Shrewsbury Ark To fund training and expenses for volunteers. £2,000 (h) Shrewsbury Arts Trail An accessible trail of 3 bronze sculptures supported by 200 regional and local artists in 16 exhibitions, 8 workshops and 5 events across the town. £2,000 (i) Shrewsbury Cantata Choir Concert performance of Mendelsohn’s Elijah by Shrewsbury Festival Chorus in June 2023. £2,000 (j) Shrewsbury Food Hub To fund food distribution costs to support the community including volunteers’ expenses, transport and FareShare surplus food purchasing. £2,000 (k) Shrewsbury Musical Theatre Company Exhibition of memorabilia and photos from past century – part of Centenary celebration of Shrewsbury Musical Theatre Company. £1,965.46 (l) Shrewsbury Railway Heritage Trust Insulation of community meeting room. £2,000 (m) Shrewsbury Ramblers To write and publish a book of walks by Shrewsbury residents for the benefit of the local community and visitors to the area. £1,894.22 (n) Shrewsbury Repair Café To support the residents of Shrewsbury in reducing items sent to waste and recycling by encouraging, promoting and facilitating repair and re-use of items. £750 Attachments:
