Our Countryside Team is proud to support a wide range of community groups across the town. This can be anything from a small group of neighbours who litter pick occasionally, to organised ‘friends of’ groups, holding their own funds and carrying out regular activities.
- Providing guidance to group leaders who in turn supervise independent work parties.
- Supplying equipment such as litter pickers and bin bags.
- Supporting grant applications for projects such as tree planting, art installations.
