The Town Council object to this application. The proposal would demolish most of the existing building and upgrading the existing building has not been considered by the applicant. We would encourage the applicant to use what they have more efficiently instead of removal. Members fully support the comments raised by the Conservation Officer in that a heritage impact assessment should be provided.
