Members are surprised to see that the Conservation Officer has not been consulted on this application that is located within a Conservation Area and is a Listed Building and would like to see their comments before making a decision. The Conservation Officer contacted the Town Council to inform that as it is a stand-alone listed building consent application I am actually the case officer on this proposal, where a colleague in planning confirmed this did not need concurrent planning permission as it dealt with an existing shop front opening. She had been working with the joiners towards the current joinery layout and was satisfied with this now, subject to any particular public or consultee comments being submitted which may change this view. On this basis the Town Council now raise no objections to the application
