Application Notes:
The Town Council object to the felling of the Birch tree which is located within a Conservation Area. Gutter guards could be used in relation to leaves in the guttering which would avoid the need for felling. It is hard to make an informed decision from the not to scale map provided as you are unable to work out exactly how close the tree is to the property. The tree also appears to be on the NE side of the property so does not interfere with sunlight. Photographs of the tree would also have been useful. The Town Council raise no objections to the proposed crown reduction works proposed.
