The Town Council objects to the removal of the trees located within the Shrewsbury Conservation Area. The area is slightly overgrown, but it is part of the character of the area and question if felling is the correct option. Members respectfully request that Shropshire Council’s Tree Officer visits the site and provides expert assessment and recommendations to confirm if the removal of the tree is necessary or if there are alternative suggestions rather than removal.
