Members do have some concerns with this application as it appears to be a substantial redevelopment of the site and the application appears misleading. The Committee felt that what is being requested is more substantial than a Juliet balcony and this could have an effect on neighbouring properties. As this property is within the Meole Brace Conservation Officer, we would like to see comments from the Conservation Officer before making a decision on this application. Following a re-consultation on 26.01.21, Members considered the comments received from the Conservation Officer and fully support the comments that have been made. Committee is in agreement that the proposed extensions do not respond well to the local character within a Conservation Area. The Town Council fully support the Conservation Officers comments and wish to object to this application.
