Members would like to see comments from Public Protection and SC Highways before making a decision on this application. Members have concerns regarding the storage vessels and if they assembled on site or if they will be built and transported in. Also, are they expanding the capacity to store oil or are they just replacing the tanks they already have but with a different shape but in same location? We would also like to see if the Environment Agency have any comments with regards to this application. Members also request that it goes before Northern Planning Committee as it may involve a certain amount of disruption when the tanks are delivered and erected. Permission has now been granted by Shropshire Council
