Whilst the Town Council does not object to the principle of redevelopment per se at these premises, Members fully support the comments made by Shropshire Council's Conservation Officer and would like to see further information, as well as the Conservation Officer's comments, before making a decision on this application. Following a re-consultation on 13.05.2020, Shrewsbury Town Council raises no objections to this planning application and Members are pleased to see that these derelict buildings will be brought back in to use. Members are mindful that an application of this type will have extensive conditions attached so as to preserve the character and appearance of the Shrewsbury Conservation Area.
