The Town Council objects to this application on the grounds that the members consider a takeaway will have a detrimental impact on the neighbouring residential properties by causing additional and unacceptable noise disturbance. Members also have concerns about the parking arrangements. Wood Street is already heavily congested with parked vehicles and Members feel that this takeaway premises will only exacerbate existing problems.
