The Town Council objects to this application on the grounds of highways safety, especially in view of the narrow width of Canonbury and Members have concerns in relation to the limited space available for vehicles to access and egress the property in forward gear with no turning circle. Members support the comments made by Shropshire Council’s Conservation Officer in relation to the glazed balustrade and hedging, which will be visible above the retaining wall, and feel that this feature does not enhance the property in the Conservation Area.
