This application was considered alongside application 18/01775/TPO. The Town Council cannot support the felling of seemingly healthy specimens and do not feel the reasons given justifies such drastic action. They are not opposed to the pruning of the fruit trees as this maintenance is necessary. This is one of several requests to fell beautiful specimens on Kennedy Road received recently which causes Members concerns. These mature trees contribute significantly to the street scene in this area and should be preserved wherever possible.
