This area has a very distinctive streetscene with a predominance of semi-detached dwellings which are generously spaced and any developments have been respectful to that very unique vernacular. The bolting on of an additional dwelling and one that is designed to be subservient to the existing semi-detached properties creating a row of terraced properties is wholly out of keeping with the character of the area and is detrimental to the street scene.
