Following complaints from residents, members have concerns over the use of this outdoor space and particularly the creation of outdoor space at first floor level due to the disturbance to neighboring properties. This disturbance takes the form of both noise nuisance and loss of provancy on the part of neighboring residents. Members do not object to the installation of screening/balustrade as this will privatise the area but know it will also encourage greater use of this outdoor area. Members enquired whether planning permission has been granted for this terrace.
