The Town Council has no objections per se to enhancing buildings within the curtilage of the main property to provide additional living accommodation. However being mindful of the fact that this property falls within the Belle Vue Conservation and the fact that there is historic significance to the existing summer house, this annex neither enhances nor preserves the area. If the Planning authority is mindful to approve this application it is requested that conditions are established that ensures that the additional living space remains ancillary to the main property and cannot be sold as a separate residence.
