Whilst the Outline planning application was supported in SAMDev, the Town Council feels that the increase from an initial 20 properties to 25 with this application is an over-development of the site and is not in-keeping with the existing property density on Hillside Drive. There are concerns regarding an increase in traffic movements from the new development. The Town Council notes that there are no arrangements for play space on the site and would like to see more information regarding the provision of these facilites from the developers.
