Whilst members have no objection per say to this outline application, they do feel that approval of this application might have the potential of opening the floodgates to similar applications and this in turn would change the nature and layout of the well-thought-out Street scene. This in turn might exacerbate the parking issue which is complicated by the narrow street layout. If the planning authority is mindful to approve, we would request that greater provision is required for off-street parking within the curtilage of the development site.
