Cost of Living Fund

Shrewsbury Town Council has created a Cost of Living Fund to support local charities and not-for-profit organisations helping residents manage rising living costs.

The fund will provide £80,000 per year for up to three years, with grants of around £20,000 awarded to 4–5 organisations each year.

This funding is for organisations only – individuals cannot apply.

What the fund supports

The fund is aimed at projects that help people in Shrewsbury reduce everyday costs and improve their financial resilience.

This includes work supporting older people, providing debt and financial advice, improving access to affordable transport, tackling energy costs, and supporting access to food.

To submit an application, you must complete the application form and the budget spreadsheet and provide all required supporting documents.
