Centenary year marking 100 years of service and fellowship as the first club in the county. As part of the celebrations we are holding a formal dinner at Shrewsbury Town Football Club. We would like the Mayor to propose a toast to the club.

I have been running Nepalese & Indian restaurant known as AVATAR since 2014 at 22-23 Mardol, SY1 1PU. We are going to relocate at 49 Mardol. That’s why I would like to request you to cut the ribbon of our restaurant.

his is a joint ecumenical service bringing together different local church communities to reflect on our shared history, regional unity, and justice. The service focuses on Saint Erkenwald, a seventh-century leader who helped shape early legal codes and who has strong traditional links to the Shropshire region.

There will be a parade leaving from the Guildhall consisting of a drumming band. local civil dignitaries, local uniformed groups and local community groups. There will then be a church service with the theme ‘Heritage and Culture’ followed by refreshments on the church lawns.

This is our annual community event celebrating Shrewsbury’s multicultural heritage. We have entertainment, food from Poland and India, face-painting and other Children’s activities. It is an event for all the family and is free!
