I am writing to enquire about Mayoral attendance to join us for the opening night of EBS Showcase: Annual Group Exhibition 2026 at The Gateway Gallery.
The preview will take place on 9th of April from 5 to 7 pm and will bring together all resident artists from English Bridge Studios, alongside local art enthusiasts and members of the wider community. It would be a great honour to have Alex attend and support this local community art initiative.
James Fitzpatrick, Harry Phillips and Megan Ward have volunteered to curate and organise the exhibition with the aim of attracting more people to English Bridge Studios and showcasing the variety of talent the resident artists have to offer.
English Bridge Studios is a vital part of the Shrewsbury arts community, providing a creative home for local artists and a space for collaboration and learning. By exhibiting with The Gateway Gallery, we are working together to ensure that Shrewsburys art scene continues to thrive. The studio is often overlooked in the town, despite the important role it plays in supporting artists. Through this exhibition, we hope to shine a spotlight on English Bridge and encourage as much recognition as possible for the incredible work happening there.
