Biography

Kate Halliday has lived in Belle Vue for 25 years and has been councillor for the ward since 2019. She is a social worker and has spent most of her career working with people with drug and alcohol problems. She is also a Shropshire Council Councillor and is Vice Chair of the Audit and Governance Committee. She is interested in flood prevention, reducing river pollution and making Shrewsbury a great place to live, work and spend time in. She is a keen cyclists and she also loves to sew.
