What is the Key Play Scheme?

It's simple!  Pay a small annual fee to gain access to sports facilities not normally available during the daytime periods.

The Key Play Scheme has been introduced for the benefit of Shrewsbury residents.  The scheme is designed to enable access (via key code) to sporting facilities at locations that are not normally manned or available for public use during all or certain time periods.

The facilities and locations included in the scheme are; Monkmoor Rec (SY2 5BN) – three tarmac tennis courts, Silks Meadow (Frankwell) – two grass tennis courts and one crown green, Saint Michaels Rec (SY1 2HA) – one grass tennis court and All Saints (SY1 2JX) – two grass tennis courts and two crown greens.
