An area of Shrewsbury is set spring into colour next year after more than 2,000 bulbs were planted by volunteers earlier this month.
The project was led by Shrewsbury Town Councillor, Keith Roberts, and saw thousands of crocus, daffodil and hyacinth bulbs, provided by Shrewsbury in Bloom, planted in an area of Radbrook.
Councillor Roberts said: “It was great to see residents working together to improve the area for everybody. We planted about 2,000 bulbs which should produce a great display of colour in the spring.”
