    The meeting will be joined by Martin Parrish from Hollyhead Estates Limited and Les Stephan from Les Stephan Planning Limited to discuss their proposed plans for the development of the Shrewsbury West Sustainable Urban Extension (SUE) at Bicton.

    Mixed residential development of 15 dwellings to include the erection of 11 new build open market houses and conversion and extension of existing dwelling known as White Lodge to provide 3 affordable apartments and refurbishment and retention of existing dwelling known as Oak House – to consider amendments to the orginial application.

    ii.  14/05208/FUL – Development Site, Harcourt Crescent, Shrewsbury
    Erection of an apartment block of four 1 bedroom appartments following demolition of existing garages – to note that an appeal has been submitted against Shropshire Council’s refusal of the planning application.

    iii. 15/00842/FUL – 37 Regents Drive, Shrewsbury, SY1 2TN
    Erection of a first floor and single storey extension to rear elevation including a Juliet balcony; insertion of porch, conversion of garage to provide a residential annexe – to consider amendments to the original application.

    iv .  13/02708/OUT – The Stew, Frankwell, Shrewsbury
    Outline application for the erection of a hotel, spa and restaurant to include access, appearance, layout and scale following demolition of existing building – to consider the Town Council’s position in relation to the Appeal Inquiry for the above planning application.

  • 6SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL’S ROAD SAFETY STRATEGY

    The meeting will be joined by Tim Sneddon (Service Manager in Environment Maintenance, Central) to review the list of community Road Safety concerns.

  • 7PREMISES LICENCE APPLICATIONS

    i.  To receive an update on the Town Clerk’s meeting with West Mercia Police and Shropshire Council Licensing Department regarding licensing issues in the town centre.

    ii.  To consider the premises licence applications received from Shropshire Council.
