Market Trader Offers Reprieve for Tardy Gift Buyers

A Shrewsbury market trader will be offering forgetful partners a life-line by opening on Valentine’s Day for those last minute gifts.

Lin’s Flowers will be open for business on Monday 14 February, despite it being a usual closing day for Shrewsbury Market Hall, where the flower stall is based.

Lin Tisdale, who owns the business, said she would have a selection of blooms available, including fresh red roses, right up to, and including, February 14 so even last minute orders could be catered for.

Mrs Tisdale, who has been trading at the market for more than 20 years, said: “I will be here, as usual, on Valentine’s Day as I always open on Mondays for half a day, even though the market is officially closed. So whether you have forgotten to get your loved one a gift, or if you just want your flowers to be that little bit extra fresh and long-lasting you can count on Lin’s Flowers to do the job.”

Lin’s Flowers is also offering a range of gift wrapped/boxed luxury single red roses and bouquets for home delivery on Valentine’s Day with prices ranging from £3.50 to £40. Delivery is priced at £4 within an approximate 10 mile radius.

For telephone orders call 07967 604893. Orders must be placed by February 12 in order to guarantee delivery for Valentine’s Day.

Lin’s Flowers is open all day Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and half day Mondays and Thursdays.
