Town of Flowers Competition
You are here
Each year the Shrewsbury in Bloom committee, in conjunction with the Town Council, holds a competition open to all residents known as the Town of Flowers.
This year (2016) the competition criteria has changed and the Shrewsbury in Bloom committee is calling on members of the public to nominate entries for the best residential front garden category. Previously entrants had been able to nominate their own garden displays.
So if you know someone who has perfect pansies or stunning sunflowers all you need to do is complete a nomination form, available at the bottom of this page.
The competition is open to residents’ front gardens only and must be located within Shrewsbury Town Council’s 17 wards.
Entries should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by post to: Shrewsbury in Bloom Town of Flowers Competition, Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury, SY3 8HR, by
midday Friday 15th July **DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL MIDDAY FRIDAY 22ND JULY**
Judging will then take place in August.
Entries for this year’s business category will be nominated by members of the Bloom committee and Town Council officers, self-nominations will not be accepted.
