Shrewsbury has once again shown that it is blooming marvellous by scooping Gold in the annual Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Heart of England in Bloom competition.

The final preparations have been completed around the town as Shrewsbury welcomes the Heart of England in Bloom judges today.

The Shrewsbury in Bloom Group has announced the winners of this year’s Bloom Portfolio photo competition.

Residents of Shrewsbury are urged to submit their photographs in a bid to be featured on the front or back cover of the annual Shrewsbury in Bloom Portfolio of Evidence.

Shrewsbury’s Rea Brook Valley Nature Reserve has been awarded Gold in the annual Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Heart of England in Bloom Parks and Open Spaces category.
