The concert will also be broadcast inside Shrewsbury Market Hall where all the action from the main stage will be relayed via large screens and speakers.
Mayor of Shrewsbury, Councillor Ioan Jones said; “I am very excited for the annual Carols in the Square concert which is a fantastic way to mark the festive season the week before Christmas. The Town Council has been working extremely hard to put on this well-loved event and I am looking forward to seeing and hearing all the people in the Square. Bring your best singing voice, grab a song sheet and pop along for some festive cheer!”
