Recreation Ground & Open Space Matters

To receive the Outdoor Recreation & Asset Managers Update Report on the following:

 

(i)    County Ground – to update members on extension plans for the pavilion;

 

(ii)   Monkmoor Recreation Ground – to consider a specification for the upgrade of the All Weather Pitch including fencing & lighting

 

(iii)  Monkmoor Recreation Ground – to consider contributing towards the cost of the community tennis project as promoted by Tennis Shropshire

 

(iv)  Castle Walk Recreation Ground – to receive an update on the development of a linking path towards Riverside Meadows

 

(v)   Dana Footpath – to receive an update on plans to create an accessible path onto Castle Street from the Dana footpath

 

(vi)  Pride Hill to receive an update in the refurbishment on Pride Hill including details of the street furniture to be used

 

(vii) Environmental Classroom to consider the principle of developing an environmental classroom on one of the Town Council’s countryside sites

 

(viii)  Dark Lane Play Area - to note the installation of new play facilities
