Shrewsbury Market Hall
With its commanding clock tower, Shrewsbury Market Hall stands proud between Shoplatch and Claremont Street. Since 1965 it has been home to many traders offering fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fresh fish, delicatessen, books, china, antiques, collectables and contemporary arts and crafts to name a few.
Shrewsbury's indoor Market Hall is jointly run by Shrewsbury Town Council - which is in charge of the canopied section - and property company Jones Lang La Salle who run the periphery stalls and units. The Town Council works closely with the Site Facilities Manager, employed by Jones Lang La Salle, to ensure the market is as vibrant and bustling as possible. Over the last 12 months there have been many new additions to the market which have breathed new life into the venue, repositioning it as one of the most up and coming places to shop. So why not give the Market Hall a visit - there are many friendly faces including our Market Officers, Rob and Andy, who can be contacted on 01743 353063.
