Local Authorities (Members' Allowances)
(England) Regulations 2003
Notice is hereby given that Shrewsbury Town Council has decided to adopt the recommendations of the Independent Remuneration Panel established by Shropshire Council in accordance with the Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003 relating to the payment of a parish basic allowance to its members of £1,000 per member (8.3% of the basic allowance paid to Shropshire Council members) with effect from 4 June 2009.
Copies of the Panel's report, which includes the recommendations on this matter, are available for inspection at The Guildhall, Shrewsbury or by opening the following document.
